Marketo Certified Expert and What It Covers

MCE is a part of the Marketo Certification Journey. This training has been developed by highly experienced Marketo Certified Experts.
In this course, you will learn about the exam format, and the coaching sessions are geared toward the following key topics:

Day 1:
Module 1 – Welcome
Module 2 – Marketo Programs

Day 2:
Module 3 – Lead Management 
Module 4 – Admin & Operations

Day 3:
Module 5 – Insights & Analytics 
Module 6 – Personalization

Duration: Six hours of instructor led sessions is required and 2 hours of self study is highly recommended.

Virtual Instructor Led Sessions: The coaching sessions take place over 3 days for 2 hours each day. During the sessions the instructor will guide you through Marketo concepts and advanced features via slides. At the end of the day, you can review the slides and do a practice test.

Live Q&A with a Marketo Expert will be available each day.

Recommended Prerequisites:

  • This exam preparation course is for anyone who has prior experience and knows all the basic features in Marketo.
  • Marketo has always recommended a person have 1 or more years hands-on, practical experience with Marketo in the areas of database marketing, lead database management, marketing programs, design studio and analytics.
  • A combination of conceptual knowledge as well as understanding of the business context of marketing automation is recommended, plus hands-on experience using Marketo.
  • Participation in on-the-job-training, training within an academic program or through Marketo University, is also recommended.
